Sausage Balls

Ingredients

Sausage Balls

  • 1 lb Jimmy Dean low fat sausage
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg

Sauce

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients and roll into half-inch balls.
  2. Fry in a cast iron pan until well done and browned.
  3. For the sauce, combine ketchup, soy sauce, dry sherry, and brown sugar in a saucepan and heat until the sugar is melted and the sauce is bubbly.
  4. Pour the warm sauce over the sausage balls or serve it on the side.

Notes

  • You can also heat the sauce in the microwave until bubbly, stirring often.
