Ginger Turmeric Smoothie

A delicious, creamy smoothie packed with anti-inflammatory benefits from turmeric and ginger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango (or pineapple)
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh turmeric (chopped) or 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger (chopped) or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds (or hemp seeds)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 pinch black pepper (boosts turmeric absorption)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1/4 avocado for extra creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds for protein and healthy fats.
  • 1 handful spinach or kale for a nutrient boost.
