Ginger Turmeric Smoothie
A delicious, creamy smoothie packed with anti-inflammatory benefits from turmeric and ginger.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk)
- 1 small banana
- 1/2 cup frozen mango (or pineapple)
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh turmeric (chopped) or 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger (chopped) or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds (or hemp seeds)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 pinch black pepper (boosts turmeric absorption)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
